Based on recent figures, the count of individuals reaching 100 in the UK has increased twofold from 8,300 in 2004 to 16,600 in 2024.

From 2004 and 2024, the total of male centenarians has increased threefold from 910 to 3,100. During the same period, the number of female centenarians almost doubled from 7,400 to 13,600.

We are eager to hear from those aged 100 or over, their loved ones or close ones, about what it has been like to experience the past century’s major happenings and changes.
